National Football Museum - The National Football Museum is the first and largest major football museum in the world. Located underneath two stands at Preston North End's Deepdale Stadium, the museum is situated in an area rich in footballing history. The club also plays at the oldest, continuously used League ground in the world, having played its first game at Deepdale in 1878. Preston were also instrumental in helping to change the game, from a sport played by gentlemen amateurs, to a game played by paid professionals. Admission is Free

Norton Priory - Norton Priory in Runcorn was built 800 years ago. Norton Priory was home for a community of Augustinian canons whose purpose was to centre their lives on God. The canons were supported by wealthy families who made gifts of land, enabling the priory to flourish for four centuries. Stone masons and tile makers were commissioned to decorate the most important building, the priory church. Discover the intriguing displays in the atmospheric, prize winning Museum. Find out about the lives of the priory canons, and see examples of the work of medieval craftspeople. Explore the displays which recall the 400 years when Norton Priory was home to the Brooke family.
